Otis this past halloween as darth vador!

This was Otis right after wilson was born.

Otis had to say his goodbye today. He was really sick on Wednesday night and I took him to the vet and they thought he had a bladder infection and then this morning he was getting worse. He ended up having a large mass in his stomach and internal bleeding. So he had to go on his last adventure with us. We are so sad to loose Otis. He was such a special and good dog. We are so sad that Wilson will not really get the chance to know Otis. But Otis and Wilson had become the best of friends. Otis did not care at all what Wilson did to him. Wilson could pull and tug on him and Otis just sat there. Otis was also trained as a pet therapy dog. He was just the best dog ever. We are truly going to miss a dog that was truly a one in a million dogs.
Otis had many misadventures such as eating a WHOLE jar of peanut butter (which we stilld o not know how in the world he opened), he tore open a whole box of Gevalia coffee, he ate a whole bag of mints at Frankie's house and later threw them up in my car, he went on all of our group/charity walks, he was a canine good citizen and a ceritfied pet therapy dog and he could catch a hot dog from a mile away. I love you Otis, and we will really miss you. Good bye buddy- you were truly the best dog a mom, dad and a baby boy could ever ask for. We love you and know that you are enjoying your new home. Until later. We love you.

All settled in

We are finally all settled into our new home! I will be sending out cards in the near future that will give you our new address as well. We are loving the new home and all the SPACE that goes with it! We were getting cramped in our little townhome.
Our townhouse is up for sale and looks really nice- it is all freshly painted, new carpet downstairs and has some new appliances in it as well! It is so nice- I hate to leave it looking so pretty! But someone will get a really nice new townhouse and it is offically move in ready!
We had a great Christmas as well! The family decided we would spend it at the beach and it was great idea and maybe a new family tradition- it was a blast! It was not crowed either and we got to swim in indoor pools every day! Wilson had a blast with Shelby Grace and Mollie!
And last but not least Wilson turned the big 2 yesterday! I can not believe he is 2 years old! How the time flies. His big present from us was a train table. I will have to post pictures of it- he was speechless and is loving playing with it!
I promise to post some pictures tonight of everything as well!

For real! We were notified of a new house coming up for sale right across the street from the last house we just tried to buy. THis one comes with a lot less stress and issues! A slam dunk beautful house!!! I am so excited. WE are going to close before December 5th! Alderburgh COurt here we come!!

Mommy took me to florence for some trick or treat. Aunt Celena boasted about her big neighborhood and it was all true! She had tons of people and tons of candy!! I had a blast and can not wait to go back next year. We had the star wars theme this year if you can tell. One downside- it was really hot!

Well, looks like we are staying put for the time being. We are staying in our house. The seller we had has made some stupid decisions. WIth his poor decision making abilites and also the fact that the house appriased $9000 under contract, we are staying put. So, we are staying home in our lilttle townhouse. One day we will move. One day.

THis was all of my blond hair! This is me at BOO AT THE ZOO in Columbia, SC. I had a blast! I am going to be Chewbaca for Halloween.

So what happened to all of my hair? Well, Mommy and AUnt Celena had a little groomer shaver thing and they were trying to get the hair around my ears and shape up my hair at the back of my neck. I asked to look at the shaver groomer tool thing and I wanted to help them out. I took the groomer thing and went from the front of my hair to as far back as I could reach!!! I helped to cut my hair. BUt mommy did not like the new do I had created, so she and AUnt Celena had to shape up my whole head. I a, happy to report that I do have some hair now, it is slowly growing back. I guess mommy learned her lesson- pay the $20 for someone to help cut my hair.

We headed to Columbia, SC with the family and went to Boo at the Zoo. We had a great time and enjoyed it. It was a little cold and raininy, but we had a blast!!! Now I am so ready for Halloween!!

How can they? and as a parent- who in the world would let their child own some chickens in their room? I went into out what will be new home to find a complete mess. But with some love and care it will look beautiful and will give us room to add another little brucey at some time down the road. HEre are some pictures from the house.

SO here is my promise to update at least once a week.

We do have some exciting things happening. We are MOVING!!! Yup, to a bigger house- much bigger. We will have a 3 car gargae that is bigger than our current house- how very exciting- more room. We have lived in the little townhouse for 8 years and it is finally time to have some more space. The new house is actually in the same neighborhood and is less than a 1/2 mile from the townhouse. We are moving to where many of our friends in the neighborhood live and honestly we could not be more excited. Right now I am waiting to get into the house to see it for the first time (yes, I have never seen this house before). We are so excited to be getting a house on this street- we have been wanting to move there for a few years and have been waiting for a house to come available. We are aiming for a move the first week in november. YEAH!

This weekend was so much fun- my mom, sister and her 2 daughters came up and helped us get the house packed and I am pretty much packed! :) ALL DONE as Wilson would say. NOw we just have to take it all out of the house. Wilson had so much fun. He got some CARS bedroom shoes today and they have not come off of his feet today. I hoep that we can get them off tomorrow in time to go to school!

Changes and more changes

Eric is coming home!! We are doing a complete job and career change for Eric. He is going to work for ITT and will be working on computers. HE will still be working over seas though. But we are getting so excited. He should be getting ready to get on a plane sometime shortly to begin his long jounrey home. It is a long flight from Dubai!
Eric will be home for a week and then off to GA for a week and then off ot Kuwait and then we do not know at the moment.
Wilson is going to be so excited. Eric can not wait to play with little boy.
In April we hope to be buying a new home- it is in the same neighborhood- just at the cul-de-sac where all of our friends are. It will be nice to actually have some space.
I am going to head to bed now. We will do posts while Eric is home!

We also have our first class at the little gym on Friday- looking forward to it! I hope that wilson likes it too

Hello all! I am so bad at this I think I am making it on here once a month.

Nana was down to visit for 2 whole weeks and left on Sunday. Wilson got quite sick with really high fevers on me for a few days ina row, so she came home with us and loved him all until he was better again.

The tubes still seem to be doing their job alright. His speeh has grown so much. He will now go to the door and demand to go outside! He loves to talk a nightly walk around the block at night with me and Otis. It is our little ritual and it gets him good and sleepy as well. But he can make it all around the block now. Over the past few days he is also started to become quite my little shadow and he will follow me everywhere. I think it is cute. But best of all he is starting to come up and give hugs to everyone including Otis!

Eric is doing good too. We miss him so much and can not wait for him to come home.

New ears and where in the world is daddy?

Well, finally- W got tubes in his ears. It only took 4 months of continous ear infections to get tubes, but they are in there. We also had some GREAT news from today as well- we went to the same ENT that we saw in th every beginning with Wilsona dn his cleft pallate issues. We dicided to skip Duke b/c the ENT there was not to swift and we really liked the guy in Cary. But I asked him to look in W's mouth today to see what he thought- and AMAZINGLY- the child's mouth has grown together and fixed itself!!!! How amazing is that! My prayers have been answered. We still may have some speech issues- but it is unlikely. BUt his mouth and muscles have amazingly corrected themselves. I was so happy to hear that. Poor thing- we took the child in this morning with a fever and anothe rreally bad ear infection and his nose and eyes were pouring out gunk again- but after the tubes went in- no more runny eyes or nose! I did not wipe his nosie all afternoon!!! It was so nice! But Nanna is here all week to give him some extra love as well.
Eric was home and his 10 days have come and gone. We are so sad. It was so nice to have him back home. Wilson knew who he was as soon as he saw him in the airport. He kept saying daddy over and over again. Wilson loves him so much. But nonetheless- Eric had to go back to work :(. He left SUnday and he should be sleeping in a hotel room in Dubai right now. He will fly out tomorrow to Baghad and then on into the base. AT latest he will be home in August- but he will probably be getting a job through a company called ITT and he will have to come home and fly back there. It takes him 14 hours to get from Atlanta to Dubai... Long long flight. I will post pictures a little later this week of our time with Eric. We miss him so so much....
Well I think that is it for now. I am going to turn in- we all had a very early morning today!

Saturday was so busy! I got to have Ms. Rebekah over to watch me and I got to go o the playground and do so many other fun things. THen mommy came to get me and I spent the whoel day with AUnt Shannon and Aunt Frankie. Mommy and the aunts looked hot b/c they had all gotten their hair done. But after sandwiches we went to visit Meredith College, even though I can not go there I had so much fun walking around and seeing everything. I even got hissed at by a silly goose. Mommy says that they are mean duckies- I must agree, they do not play like Otis the dog.

Sunday we walked around a lake with Otis and took a nice long nap. Then we went to dinner and came home and i got to swing. I got to play with one of my firends from school while I was there!

Well, we are going to go get some sleep now. Mommy says that daddy will be home this time next week. I am really exited. I love to talk to him onthe phoen but it will be super fun to have him back home!

Wilson loves to talk on the phone. I started the phone thing b/c he and eric chat when Eric calls in. Wilson walks around going "Hey Dadddy." and of course when Eric gets on the phone he is either quiet or telling Eric about something else and then when I take the phoen back it is always "hey Daddy!" But WIlson loves to chat on the phone- he will tell you all about his day if you let him! I think he looks like the little kid on the E*Trade commercials. I can hear him say "Hey girl, can I hit you back later?"

Oh my goodness, has it really been since Febuary that we posted something- where in the world did all of February go and where is March going?
We were actually really busy in February.
For most of February Wilson was between Raleigh and staying in Florence. Nanna and Aunt Celena came up to go to Duke with us for our check up with he cleft pallate team. We were anxious to go esp. since Wilson has had so many ear infections. But alas, his ears were of course clear that day! But we are not "offically" let go from duke, but it is looking like they will elect not to do surgery on him- whatever muscle issues he has along his pallate will be fine and he should be able to live a normal life with what he has- the next biggest indicator will be his speech development and if we have problems with that then his mouth will need to be fixed.
We have had many many ear infections (we have been ear infection free for 2 weeks now!!) and even a bought with pink eye- ever try to put eye drops in a 14 month old? That was a trial.
March has been a hard month- I feel like we have been holed up in our house most of this month from all the RAIN we have been getting! Good gracious! Rain for days at a time. I am thankful for the rain, but most of all thankful that it is no longer the cold rain, but it is warmer now.
Eric is still in Iraq and is doing okay. He is rather tan and we all got to see eachother via our webcams a few weeks ago. It was the first time we have seen eachother since he left in December. He is coming home in a few weeks- APRIL 12!!! This is our anniversary and I am so excited about it. I can not wait to see him and he can not wait to see W and me!
How am I doing? I am doing good. I have lost a total of 18 lbs and 17 inches. I am down 2 sizes. I can not believe it! I have been doing good. I am actually in Raleigh for the next 5 or 6 weeks- longest stretch since Eric left. I usually end up going home to Florence almost every other weekend. My family has been fantastic in helping with everything.
My most fun time over the past few months was the trip taht Frank, Katie, Shannon and I took to Charleston. We had a beautiful weekend down there. We treated ourselves to one of the best dinners i have had in a long time at SNOB and just had a great time being together again. It was so nice to stay up late and just gab and laugh. It was just so nice to get away and just be by ourselves- no children.
This last Saturday we had a very special visit from AUnt Kelli and uncle Dino. THey dropped by for the day to visit and as always it was a pleasure to see them. WE love them so much and wish that they lived closer.
Saturday Frankie, Shannon and I have a girlie day at Jenny's to get our hair done! I will post pictures of our adventures. I have so many grey hairs!
Well, I am off to go to bed. Sorry for the time in between posts- I will keep this updated more often- Hope you are all doing well!

Long time no blog

Goodness. What a few weeks. We went to Florence to help Celena celebrate her birthday and then we have also been fighting ear infection after ear infection... Then we are headed back to Duke in a few weeks for another round of checkups and deciding what to do or what not to do.

Eric is still overseas and he is doing good. We get to talk almost every other day. I hold the phone up to WIlson's ear when he calls and this week Wilson has actually started to talk back to Eric- Eric really likes that.

Wilson is now walking. You can see on his face when he is deciding to choose to walk or crawl. He looks so cute when he walks. He really just amazes me. He is so much like Eric in all ways. His little personality is so Eric. He is just a silly baby boy. He loves his classroom at preschool and he is just simply amazing.

It is tough being a parent, but it really is just the best thing in the world.

I am still doing Jenny Craig (and yes, the food is good- there are a few things I don;t like- but most of it is pretty good and very easy to fix!) and I am at a total of 12 lbs! I gave lost one whole size!!

Well that is about it for now. I am going to go to sleep now. Good night!

The first two pictures were taken about 8 am. The bottom one was taken at 630 am! I got up at 2 or 3 am with wilson and there was no snow on the ground at all! I was really suprised to wake up and see this!!! It is so pretty!

We are going to hang out here at home today and watch theh snow and watch thee festivities in Washington DC. Hav efun in the snow!!!

12 month checkup a little late...

Well, we finally were able to get our 12 month check up in today! Changing insurance is sure fun!!!!
Here are our stats:
19 lbs even
30 inches long

He certianly isn't as heavy as i thought he was! But he is growing good and strong. He also had a double ear infection as well! He had been waking up at night at random over the past week and he has been a little more fussy and congestiony, but he didn't act like he did with the round of ear infections last year. I just thought he was beginning to show his colors!!
The dr suggested that we keep our appt with Duke and go one more time. If we don't like what they say then we can go from there and I can always go to another cleft pallate team. That is the good thing about living here- we pretty much have our pick of specialists.

Well, I am going to go to sleep now. I am sleepy. I am in the process of getting a nice sinus infection/ head cold and I just took some cold medicine. And I am slowly getting sucked back into American Idol. Good night all!

A new olympic sport?

Well, Wilson decided to do some crib diving yesterday. Ihad put him down for a nap come downstairs to fix my lunch and I heard "CRASH BOO- Loud cry" So I ran upstairs and found Wilson sitting in the middle of his floor. I will give hima 10 for distance- and not hurting himself!

How are things going?

Well so far so good. Eric has been gone for over a month now. So if I have it right we have three more months until he comes home. I have had some problems with getting Otis the dog adjutsed to the new schedule- he used to geta walk from eric half way through the day- but now he doesn't. I have to remember that this has been a big change for him as well- so I have been speaking with the lady who helped us with most of our training with him and I just have to remember not to get frustrated with him- although it can be hard- but I just have to keep my patience with him.
Wilson is adjusting just fine as well. In fact he is moving to theh 1 yr old classroom full time next Monday- kin dof sad- baby boy is offically growing up! I think he is getting some back teeth in and that has really been bothering him.
Work for me is still and I am extremely grateful for the boss I have. Mitch is fantastic and is so completely understanding of the situation we are in. I basically can come and go as i need to. He is fantastic adn I can not believe how lucky I am to be in the place where I am.
Eric and I do get to talk for about 10-15 mins at a time. He normally will call me in the mornings around 7 am. It is 3pm over there at that time. He is ona break at work and wants to call and say hello. We are both in the process of getting laptops so we both now have webcams and we talk everyday by email as well.
I am still doing Jenny Craig and I am doing well on it. I am down almost 10 pbs- I should hit 10 lbs this next week. I do look forward to it. I never thought I would have fun on a diet- but I am this time around!
Well, I am off to go have me a piece of JC cheesecake and cuddle up with Otis and watch some tv and go to sleep. We are all sleepy!

Oh we also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the crazy Amanda and I am so excited about teh B-day party at theUmsted! How fancy!!

Happy First Birthday to my littleboy!
We had quite the celebration that ended in a cheeseburger and apples from McDonalds! We ended our stay in Florence with a mini b-day party complete with Wilson's own little cake and even a good morning Birthday boy phone call from Eric.
I can not believe that it has been a year already. But I am so proud of Wilson. We love him so much. Eric misses him so much. But only about 3 more months then we get him home for a little bit...

My cake and decorations!

We celebrated my birthday a little early (min is dec. 28th) and we celebrated Papa's birthday this weekend! We had a blast. mom and I headed down to Florence, SC to celebrate. Papa took us out to dinner at Steffano's. We did gifts before dinner and I got some pretty cool gifts! I will post pics of the gifts a bit later. Papa got a cool singing tie, pants, some shirts and a really nice NC state sweater.

But, my most favorite toy is Curious George. He goes shopping and spends the day with me at school everyday, so mommy did a Curious George theme! Look at my cool monkey cake!!!!

Where in the world is Daddy?

Well at the very mom ent we have no idea. He is somewhere between Houston, TX- Atlanta, GA and Dubai. We have been able to talk to him since he left for houston 2 weeks ago, but after this morning's good bye's it will be a littl bit before we talk to him again. Once he gets settled in camp and all taht he will send emails and we will be able to figureo ut the calling situtation. keep him in your thoughts and prayers to stay safe. If you ever get to read this Daddy- we love youo and miss you so much!

Daddy's new job

We took daddy to the airport to go to Huston. He has taken a new job as a civilian governnent contractor and will be leaving for Iraq in about 2 weeks. He will be there for four months and then home for 15 days. We will know his coming home date a little later this month. Please keep us in your prayers as Wilson and I stay here and while daddy is in Iraq. We pray for his safety everyday

Flu shots are nasty

W had his flu bootser shot this week and it really did not sit well with him on Wednesday! He was not feeling to good. So he had dinner with Auntie Shannon and a special cookie! We weighed little W and he is finally 20 lbs!! We are headed out and thanks to Grandma- we are getting the new car seat!!! YEAH!!!
I have finished my first full week of Jenny Craig- so far not to bad- food is okay and pretty tasty- not as good as a homecooked meal- but it is easy so no complaints here. I lost 1.6 lbs this week! I am going to try for 2 this week! We will see! So far I am beating Eric at the weight loss game!

Otis is all okay! His test came back and he doesn't have cancer. He will have surgery on Friday to take the lump off of his tail. We are so happy that it came back negative!

Oh- and we just wanted to say thet we voted early on Thursday of last week and Wilson even got to come and they gave him his own sticker! We will post the picture a little later on tonight. But we went to our little local voting place in Holly Springs and went right in and right out. My ballot was number 1200 for the day!! 1200 people in HSP voted in ONE day! I just think it is amazing that so many people are voting. So all of you who love to send us McCain stuff- while we love you- you can stop- we have already cast our vote. But I don't care who you vote for- this is really exciting and go vote! if you don't vote, you can't complain!

Otis the dog is kind of sick we think. He has a tumor or a cyst on his back side and we are waiting to se eif it is a canerous growth or just a cyst. We should know more by the end of the week/ beginning of next week. Our vet is going to take really good care of him, but they may be leaning more towards a canerous growth than the cyst from our family meeting at the vets office yesterday. We are going to stay positive and think that it is a cyst or a non canerous growth and hopefully we can get it removed next week and Otis will be all better. We really love Otis. But we will keep you posted. But say a little prayer for our doggie to be okay.

So, mommy came to get me and I was so happy to see her until she looked on my chart and saw the words "Please sign bite report." That is right, with all my new teeth I just wanted to see what they would do. I didn't break any skin or anything and I was just trying to get my g-friend to share her cheesy biscut with me. Mommy took me all of these new rings to school today as well. It may work- who knows.

Well, Wilson is almost 9 months old... I can't believe it! So in honor of 9 months:

We have our 9 month appt on October 2nd.
Wilson has alos begun sleeping through the night over the past two weeks! It has been so nice!
We have also started at a Kiddie Academy that is literally across the street from the house. I thought thatt the transition would be difficult, but he is still my happy little W. It was a hard decision taking him away from theh Children's Place at the church- but they just closed way to often- in the si months he was there- I had taken over a month off b/c of days they were closed! SO we switched. This new place provides AL food for him! They also have cameras in the room so I can look in on my little baby while I am at work. I LOVE being able to look at my little man during the day.
Eric has also offically begun school again for his computer certifications. He passed his first one today. He now has his A+ cetification. We are realy proud of him.
Well I think that is it. We have been so busy! Pretty soon we will be at the holidays and a 1 year birthday!
I am going to finish my wonderful glass of wine while I add some pictures and then I am of to watch some wonderous tv. I am so glad that shows are starting back.

9/11 thoughts

Well, here we are 9/11/ 2008. I remember everything about this day when it all happened. I remember the very spot in the classroom that I was giving my music lesson in. I remember the teacher bowing his head b/c his brother was a fireman there. I remember staying late at the school b/c we had so many children that had both parents in the military and they could not go home b/c the bases were on lock down. I remember that Campbell University did NOT cancel classes that night and that was the one time that I missed classes b/c I just wanted to go home and just sit. I remember looking into the sky and not seeing any planes for a while. I remeber thinking how the next day was going to be and that nothing would ever be the same. I did not know anyone in the Twin Towers or in any planes or even in NY City.
So here we are now. Part of me doesn't feel right being at work- part of me wishes that today would be a day of rememberence where everyone has off. But maybe the best way to honor them is to actually go to work.

Today was the big visit to Duke. It turns out that we are not scheduling a date for his pallate b/c they don't think that is all what is going on and they are concerned that the cleft surgery may not fix everything that needs to be fixed. They want him to begin developing his language more and that should tell them a great deal more about what is going on. So we head back in 6 months. We weren't to happy with this latest round of news b/c no one likes to hear that more might be wrong with their baby. So for now we continue and we have to keep an eye on his weight gain and make sure that is steady and just keep an eye on him and write down anything that we notice that doesn't seem right... So here is to another six months of wondering and trying to figure stuff out....

Well, I am still growing as a heathly boy! I had my 6 month check up and here are my stats:
Weight: 15.11 lbs.
Length: 26"
Head: 42 cm.

I had to get shots to, but mom made it all better and we even got to go see Auntie Shannon at her work! Then mommy let me sleep with her until daddy got hom and I slept from 7-12am then until 7 am! I was tired.
Mommy and daddy said something today about going to go buy a high chair for me. So that might be an exciting adventure for me!

I am beginnign to sit up but when Otis comes around I get exited and fall over!

Our friend Amy Perry is at Duke until she can have her little boy. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they wait the arrival of Baby Boy Perry. She is 24 weeks pregnant.

Also please continue to remember Sara, Julie's little girl. SHe has been transfered back to the care facility that she was in before her heart sugery. She will continue to stay at the facility until her next surgery which I think will be in about 3 or 4 months.

We had such an exciting weekend! I got to meet mommy's college roomate and play with her 2 boys. I had a great time with Ethan! I can see that he makes a great big brother! I had so much fun playing with him. I had fun meeting Logan as well. H eis a few weeks older than me. We are going to be GREAT friends! It was so good to meet them!

Well, mom turned 30 the other day. She says that she is truly feeling her age. She got her birthday wish that my ears were clearing up and I had put on some weight. We have ben dealing with really bad ear infections now for over a month. The dr finally gave him some shots and we have to go back to see if they are gone on June 3rd- Mommy's 30th b-day!

Weel so far I am doing good. Mom says thaht I am growing like a weed. I now get to sit in my stoller and look at the world while we walk at night with Otis. Otis and I are great friends. I even reach for him when he is near by. He loves to give me puppy kisses! But he lets me grab him and I think he loves it.

I love to smile and laugh ALL the time. Daddy espically always makes me laugh. Mommy says thaht she loves my laugh. We still solve the world's problems while I get my diaper changed. School is still going great- although mom and dad have decided that I am going to go to the day care across the street in the middle of September. It is closer and they say it is okay for daddy to come see me everyday! But I even get to sit at the table when all of my other friends get to eat snacks. I get to sit with them and I get to eat there to! I get to eat a yummy choice of fruit. I love to eat. Mom says that she is finally glad that her baby is eating well.

I am also learning about how great the pink medicine tastes! I have had 2 ear infections and they are not fun, but i do get lots of extra good cuddles from mommy and daddy when they come along. (it is amazing thath the pink stuff still tastes the same after 29 years!) OMG- I turn 30 in a few weeks. .Ugh. Well it i stime for me to eat some dinner. I am going to send mommy into the kitchen.

So we have been long overdue for an Otis misadventure! Well, Tuesday night Wilson and I were being good citizens and went to our neighborhood watch meeting. I forgot to shut the kiddie gate to the kitchen. Well Otis thought that the deep fryer and the oil in it smelled so yummy that he decided to tip the fryer over and the oil went everywhere! SO we put some peat moss on the floor to soak up the oil and then Eric cleaned it all up when he got home!

I took my first trip this weekend. Mommy said that my uncle rob was comming home from Iraq and we went home to go visit him and let everyone in Florence meet me! We had an exciting morning of animals this morning! Above is the pigeon that hung out in our back yard all last night and this morning. Daddy found it when he came home from work and mommy and Otis found it this morning hanging out in our back yard! When daddy woke up he called our wonderous Holly Springs animal control and they came and got the bird. As the lady was looking taa the bird she said that the little band onhis foot will help find his owner, but he was a carrier pigeon and was more than likely in a race and he stopped by to rest at our home. But the nice lady took him to their place and she was going tocall theh owenr and give the birdie some love and attention. It was fun having him around but he made a mess of our back yard!

Here I am haning out. I am 3 months old today!! Can you believe it??? I am getting so big and I am starting to look like mommy a bit finally now. (Or at least that is what daycare says, but they haven't meet daddy yet- mom won't let them see him b/c she says finally someone thinks that I look like her). My favorite thing in the whole world is to swing! I also like to cuddle with mom and dad and Otis. Mommy and I still have our talks about how to solve the world's problems while I am getting my diaper changed. I am also a HUGE Fannilow! We listen to him everynight coming home. Mandy is my fav song!

But I got to hang with her all day long and we went to go see daddy for dinner. He wanted to give me some of his hugs and kisses to make me feel better.

Here are my stats:

I weigh 11.1 lbs ( 45% percentile)
I am 22 1/4 inches long (25% percentile)
And my head is 14 3/4 big! (10% percentile)

Well, I am really fussy and tired, so mom is going ot give me a bath and my night bottle and we are both going to bed!

Big Day

We have some big days coming up. W has his 2 month check up tomorrow and we got a whole bunch of information from Duke the other day. His appointment to meet with all the specialists is on August 20th. I believe that we will also set his surgery date then as well. So that means he will more than likely have his surgery the end of September. We will keep everyone updated as time goes on. But the new bottles are working like a champ and my I am proud to say that my baby finally eats well! Now if we could only get over the really bad spitups....
W also wanted to tell his Auntie Shannon that he had a great time at dinner last night! He promises to grow up and love Mexican food as well!

2 months old!

Can you believe it? I am 2 months old!
Here are some things that I like:
1. Bath time- espically on the weekends when daddy can join in.
2. Getting my diaper changed. Mom and I always have deep conversations while I am getting my diaper changed.
3. EATING! (Mom note- finally my baby likes to eat! and is offically a good bottle taker!!!)
4. When mom comes in to my room at daycare to get me and I hear her say "Hey Little W!"
5. Day care ladies think I am cute and they always say taht they like my outifts!
6. My buddy Otis telling me hello when we get home.
7. Being a taco baby at bed time.

I don't like:
1. When mom decides that bath time is over.
2. Not being in the room where all the action is or really where mom and dad aren't

Mom says that now that I have my feeding issues taken care of I am a much more calmer baby and so much more happy. I am happy! I am drinking up to 6 ozs now! I am getting to be such a big boy. Next week she says that I will have an unhappy day as I have my offical 2 month checkup and I hear that has something called shots. Oh well, I get to spend that day with mom, so it will be okay. Well, mom says it is time to go so we can all get ready to go to the park for a walk and a picnic. Dad says that maybe Otis can have some chicken nuggets while we have our little family picnic!
