9 months already?
Well, Wilson is almost 9 months old... I can't believe it! So in honor of 9 months:
9 things Wilson likes:
1. Otis
2. Food
3. Playing withh daddy
4. Cuddling with Mommy
5. Sweet tea
6. cheesy biscuits
7. Baby Einstien videos
8. Jumperoo
9. Walks
We have our 9 month appt on October 2nd.
Wilson has alos begun sleeping through the night over the past two weeks! It has been so nice!
We have also started at a Kiddie Academy that is literally across the street from the house. I thought thatt the transition would be difficult, but he is still my happy little W. It was a hard decision taking him away from theh Children's Place at the church- but they just closed way to often- in the si months he was there- I had taken over a month off b/c of days they were closed! SO we switched. This new place provides AL food for him! They also have cameras in the room so I can look in on my little baby while I am at work. I LOVE being able to look at my little man during the day.
Eric has also offically begun school again for his computer certifications. He passed his first one today. He now has his A+ cetification. We are realy proud of him.
Well I think that is it. We have been so busy! Pretty soon we will be at the holidays and a 1 year birthday!
I am going to finish my wonderful glass of wine while I add some pictures and then I am of to watch some wonderous tv. I am so glad that shows are starting back.

150 Things about us
We live in Holly Springs, NC
We are in the 10 mile radius of Sharon Harris, we get to see the smoke stack everyday.
I think that he Sharon Harris lake is filled with RUS (Rodents of Unusal Size)
One of my favorite movies is Princess Bride as seen in #3.
Eric is from Ironton, OH
I am from Orlando, Fl
I moved from Orlando when she was 16-
I moved to Florence, SC
After a bit of culture shock, I actually turned out okay from the experience and it made me a better person
I learned about mobile homes and welfare in Florence.
Eric was an MP in the US Army
I went to Meredith College
Eric and I met at a bachelorette party in Fayetteville.
I knew we would get married the next day
He turned around to make sure that I knew how to get home to Florence.
I don’t think he knew what I knew
Eric was actually engaged before me- he was 19 just out of basic camp.
The ex is now a singer on the radio and had a hit song that was the intro to an MTV show.
Wilson is our little baby boy.
He is really the apple of my eye
We think he is so cute
I love to listen to him laugh
I love to watch him chase Otis the dog.
I spent $300 training Otis the dog.
Wilson started his new school today.
I have a great boss, Mitch
Eric works for Gregory Poole.
He has a great job too!
Eric is in school now
He is getting his computer certifications.
I have four of the best friends ever
Katie, Shannon, Frankie and Julie are their names
I wish Frankie would move back
I wish Katie would move back as well
And I wish that Julie would move back.
I have 2 nieces
Shelby Grace and Mollie Hunter
Mollie doesn’t like her middle name
Wilson’s middle name is Clifton.
Wilson’s names come from his grandfathers
Eric’s grandpa is Wilson
He fought in Korea
He was one of the few to come back in his unit.
Clifton was my granddad’s middle name
I loved my grandpa.
To this day no one in our family knows exactly how or why my grandpa and grandma got married.
I miss Orlando and wish to go back to Florida.
I am a real estate paralegal
I really like to refer it to a “Professional Paper Pusher.”
Eric works on compact construction equipment
We like sweet tea and so does our little bugaboo.
Eric’s mom, sister and brother in law are nurses
My dad is a high school math teacher now
He used to be a radar engineer
Mom is retiring right before Thanksgiving.
Celena is my sister, she is older than me
Eric and I are both the babies of the family
Celena is an ultrasound tech in Florence
I have my degree in Flute Playing.
I don’t play the flute anymore.
I almost have a Masters in Education
Campbell University sucks
That is why I do not have my MEd.
I am not to sore about it though! J

We have learned that Doctors are not as smart as we think they are
We also have learned to speak our voices to them
I like to talk to people
I almost went to college in New Orleans.
We cheer for Ohio State
Although, Eric is really upset about the game this past weekend against USC

My mom seriously disliked 90210.
I was never allowed to have a phone in my room as a child.
Eric had like the mac daddy room- complete with a waterbed.
I am proud that I went to Meredith and that I am a Meredith Angel
Eric loves the monthly financial reminder that I went to Meredith!
I drive a white Honda Accord
I used to drive a Red Cougar
I got the Cougar b/c of my granddaddy telling daddy to buy it for me!
I had a sentra that I totaled before that
Eric has a nice red Toyota truck
I love his truck, but I have trouble getting in and out of it.
I miss my grandfather everyday. I am so sad that he is gone and Wilson will never have the chance to meet him
Eric and I also both deeply miss my dad’s brother- Uncle David.
His life was way to short and he was a special man.
I am currently eating a really good trail mix that Harris Tetter makes. It is super delicious!

My brother in law has fought twice in Iraq
My dad is going to retire after this year as well
My best friends are a gift from above.
I depend on them more than I do my own family at times

We have to use VERY expensive nipples for his bottles
They are $3.50 a PIECE plus shipping and handling.
I am thankful that we have insurance

We are Obama supporters this time
We are both registered Republicans
But we might be changing our affiliation
We think John Edwards is a dog after what he did to Elizabeth

I watched her get married
She had my fairy tale wedding
I cried when she died and I watched her funeral
I will watch her son get married as well I am sure
Eric thinks Oprah is the anti-christ
Eric makes me laugh all the time
I got mad at him after I had Wilson b/c it really hurt to laugh and he would make me laugh
We never would have imagined how quickly you must make decisions sometimes
I am so honored to have so many friends
I am honored to know so many strong women
I am thankful that Shannon shared Hayden with me
My dream car is a Bently.
I will never own a Bently
I guess that will be okay
We wonder how McDonalds can make $1 bacon cheeseburger taste so good.

9/11 thoughts
Well, here we are 9/11/ 2008. I remember everything about this day when it all happened. I remember the very spot in the classroom that I was giving my music lesson in. I remember the teacher bowing his head b/c his brother was a fireman there. I remember staying late at the school b/c we had so many children that had both parents in the military and they could not go home b/c the bases were on lock down. I remember that Campbell University did NOT cancel classes that night and that was the one time that I missed classes b/c I just wanted to go home and just sit. I remember looking into the sky and not seeing any planes for a while. I remeber thinking how the next day was going to be and that nothing would ever be the same. I did not know anyone in the Twin Towers or in any planes or even in NY City.
So here we are now. Part of me doesn't feel right being at work- part of me wishes that today would be a day of rememberence where everyone has off. But maybe the best way to honor them is to actually go to work.

GO OHIO STATE
We are so excited about football season!!! Just an FYI my Ohio State buckeyes won this last week! maybe they will actually win the big one this year!!! Mommy and daddy say that I need to learn to kick a thing called a football so that I can go to Ohio State and be their kicker? They are crazy!
A shiner?
I was trying to walk around my day care yesterday and as i was coming to the rocking chair I let go and bumped near my eye. I can't tell If I am going to have a black eye yet, but hopefully not! :(
